Vacation Student Opportunities

At Rio Tinto, we produce materials essential to human progress. Aluminium for cars and smartphones. Copper for wind turbines, electric cars and the pipes that bring water to our home. Iron ore to shape our city skylines. Borates that help crops grow, titanium for paint – and diamonds that celebrate the best things in life.

Our Programme

Our Vacation Programme runs from December to February.  It’s a challenging and fast-paced 12 weeks, in which you’ll put theory into practice to deliver results. With guidance and support at every step of the way you’ll complete a number of job-based assignments related to your area of study. Our Vacation Programme opens the opportunity to collaborate with graduates, leaders and technical experts.
