Study postgraduate engineering and computing

Information for future students on how you can study at Australia's top university.

Now is a great time to study engineering and computer science. Over the past two years, our graduate students have overcome challenges presented by the pandemic, and produced  game-changing research publications in engineering and computer scienceaward-winning PhD theses, and award-winning enterprises.

Graduate students at the ANU College of Engineering & Computer Science are collaborating with world class academics, making distinguished contributions in the race to find clean energy solutions and curb the destructive impacts of climate change. Academics supported by PhD candidates set a new world record for supercomputing. And, as the global scientific community leapt headlong into a genomic sequencing effort to battle COVID-19, a multidisciplinary team of researchers released a groundbreaking phylogenic software that has helped track the evolution of COVID-19 variants and led directly to the development of vaccines.

A postgraduate program in engineering, computing, or cybernetics will reward you while you study, and long after, by immediately placing you at the forefront of technological innovation and connecting you with the global scientific community.

Each year the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science may award up to ten scholarships, known as the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship.

The objectives of the award are to attract high performing domestic students who are otherwise hesitant to commit to study, due to the high financial cost of undertaking postgraduate coursework studies.

Funding for this award has been provided jointly by the College of Engineering and Computer Science and by the Australian National University.
