Self-scaling machine learning for high performance computing

Description

This project combines high performace computing, parallel computing, machine learning and optimization (and potentially cloud computing).

I can be contacted directly my email to discuss the specifics of PhD projects, but it is best be begin by familiarising yourself with the procedures outlined at https://cecs.anu.edu.au/study/phd-mphil.  This will include a statement of support from me, so  before applying (but after you have confirmed your eligibility) we can discuss the project and your skills and experience.

Pay particular attenion to the deadlines, and contact me early.  It is unlikely I will have time to do anything at the last minute.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python, familarity with OpenMP and MPI, and demonstrated knowledge of high performance computing.
