Project 1: VIDEO-BASED KNOWLEDGE SHARING PLATFORM
PREVIOUS WORK: The fundamental structure and basic video functionality has been implemented. You'll mainly be responsible for development of the advanced user interface and its video/audio features and filters.
- Implementation (the code) with technical documentation
- Dataset used (you can provide the URL if you haven’t made any changes to it after downloading)
- A brief Project Completion Report (Shouldn’t be too long. To the point.) consisting of:
- Executive summary and objectives
- Methodology: approaches/algorithms used
- Any assumptions, constraints, or factors that affected the project Outcomes
Project 2: UI/UX DESIGN FOR A VIDEO-BASED PLATFORM
Tech used: Proto.io, Adobe XD, or any UX technologies you have skills in.
Previous work: The fundamental structure and basic video functionality has been implemented. You'll mainly be responsible for development of an intuitive user interface design, branding, usability and function.

- Methodology: approaches/algorithms used

Project 3: USER DATA ANALYSIS FOR A VIDEO-BASED APP
OBJECTIVE: The objective is to develop user database, profiles, user communities, and capture user history for analysis, for a video-sharing platform serving both lecturers and students. It is designed to be easy-to-use and interactive at the same time. The platform aims to create an open place for students and lecturers to share ideas and insights with each other, or answer questions raised by any students or participate in any topic of interest.
TECH USED: Java, Android Studio, Firebase
PREVIOUS WORK: Username and password feature has been implemented. However, the aim is to extend user information to a full profile as well as capture user history of accessing certain videos/information on the platform.

Project 4: CLOUD BACKEND FOR SOCIAL MEDIA APP
Objective: The objective is to research and develop scalable cloudbased backend for a videosharing platform serving both lecturers and students. It is designed to be easy-touse and interactive at the same time. The platform aims to create an open place for students and lecturers to share ideas and insights with each other, or answer questions raised by any students or participate in any topic of interest.
TECH USED: Depending on your expertise and preferences
PREVIOUS WORK: A local server has been used so far. However, for the app to be scalable, the project requires to set up a cloud server suitable for a video-based knowledgesharing platform

Project 5: MACHINE LEARNING BASED RECOMMENDATION ENGINE
OBJECTIVE: The objective is to develop A Recommendation engine, based on past user behaviours to recommend related topics and videos, on a video-sharing platform serving both lecturers and students. It is designed to be easy-to-use and interactive at the same time. The platform aims to create an open place for students and lecturers to share ideas and insights with each other, or answer questions raised by any students or participate in any topic of interest.
TECH USED: Python
PREVIOUS WORK: A recommendation engine hasn't been developed. So this project will be research and development project.
