Dr Chathurika Mediwaththe

Dr Chathurika Mediwaththe is a research fellow with the Research School of Electrical, Energy and Materials Engineering and the Battery Storage and Grid Integration Program at the Australian National University. She obtained a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in 2017 and a BSc (Hons.) (1st class) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2011.

Her research interests are in mathematical modelling, optimisation, game theory, and data analysis with applications in power systems including distributed energy storage and renewable power generation integration, electricity demand-side management, and smart grids.
