Designed for students in years 9 - 12, STEAM Day brings together bright minds to consider how Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) can be combined to solve some of the greatest issues we face in the future.

Think about astronomy, computer gaming, photography, or virtual reality — these all have roots in STEAM subjects and combine multiple disciplines.

In fact, many of today’s most exciting jobs are those that apply STEAM skills:

  • Predicting weather patterns (Science)
  • Coding software for Robotics (Technology)
  • Building solar power solutions (Engineering)
  • Designing video games experiences (Art)
  • Creating algorithms that space artificial antelligence (Mathematics)

This free event provides participants with the opportunity to explore the latest interdisciplinary fields.

Event Highlights:

  • Participate in three workshops choosing between specific areas of focus.
