Running from Wednesday 26 November to Friday 29 November 2019, the Reimagine CoDesign Culture Lab comprises 3.5 days of coordinated activities organised around the shared goal of exploring creativity and collaboration in teaching, research, and the practice of engineering and computer science.
We will explore the role of creativity and collaboration in our field during 2 days of presentations and workshops. These will be led by practitioners in the field showcasing their work and how they approach it.
We will then spend 1.5 days discussing new approaches to teaching and learning that better address the changing needs of today’s graduates and the people who will be solving the problems of the 21st century and beyond.
Organisations and businesses we are working with to create and run workshops include:
- Field Ready
- Old Ways, New
- Center for Appropriate Technology
- Social Robotics Lab (University of Queensland)
- Engineers Without Borders Australia
Others will be announced as we confirm their participation.
How to Participate
The CoDesign Culture Lab combines sessions that are open to all ANU students, faculty and staff with practitioner community sessions that have limited capacity and therefore require an Expression Of Interest (EOI).
Students, CECS Academic and Professional Staff are all encouraged to attend. Preference will be given to those who can attend the whole event, but please nominate for the sessions you’d like to attend. Apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Students can apply through the EOI process here.
