Problem Solving in STEM by Prof Iouri Belski

This Wednesday we are hosting Prof Iouri Belski from RMIT, and he will be giving a seminar on Engineering Problem Solving, particularly a methodology called TRIZ.

He will be talking about the work that has come out of his OLT Senior Fellowship looking at problem solving in Australian engineering education.

The talk will be generally aimed at STEM, rather than engineering. Iouri will frame his talk also about how TRIZ can be used for solving research problems and roadblocks, and may be useful for your PhD students as well.

You can find out about Iouri's project "Educating the Edisons of the 21st Century" here and his RMIT page here
