Calling all postgrads!

The ANU National Security College (NSC) and the ANU Cyber Institute are co-hosting a visit from the Indiana University - Bloomington (IU) to advance conversations around Cyber.

All CECS postgraduate students are invited to attend interactive workshops and a networking event with colleagues from the NSC, the Australian Public Service and IU.

 

Panel I: Hacking Autocracy

While much attention related to cybersecurity and information operations has focused on Western democracies, authoritarian states are also potentially vulnerable to such challenges. What are the specific pressure points that non-democracies face?

Panel II: Hacking Democracy

In the wake of the 2016 U.S. elections, along with follow-up disinformation campaigns making use of “flooding” and “confidence” attacks, a debate is brewing about how to mitigate a range of threats to democratic institutions.
