Grand Graduation: Class of 2020

With COVID-19 restrictions still in place, we are unable to hold our normal graduation ceremonies in person, but it's still important to recognise and celebrate your achievements.

ANU will be hosting a first of its kind, hybrid Grand Graduation celebration event that will take place virtually via livestream and in-person in seven locations across Australia and internationally on Monday 8 February, 3-4pm AEDT.

The main event will take place from Llewellyn Hall, Canberra and live cross to reception events happening simultaneously in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Shanghai and Beijing. We are also hoping to host an event in Singapore.

Students have the option to attend on campus, at a reception event location or watch via the livestream and celebrate with the Virtual Graduation Party Pack. In-person tickets are limited due to COVID-19 capacity constraints so bookings are essential and are restricted to graduating students only.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, numbers at in-person events are strictly limited so please register for one location only. But don't worry if you can't get to a reception location, you can join us via the livesteam and host your own celebration using the Virtual Graduation Party Pack! Professional photo opportunities

Students will get the opportunity to have professional photos in full regalia on the day.

Regalia hire and photo session will be provided at no charge. Students can choose to purchase copies of their photos if they wish.

Arrangements for photo sessions vary for each location. Please refer to each location's event registration page above for more information on photos.

Our community, friends and family can join in the celebration by watching the livestream event. Please register here and you will be sent a link closer to the event.

Due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions, the in-person events are open to graduating students only.
