Engineering for teachers

Discover how you can integrate engaging engineering activities into your classroom

In this professional development event, teachers will learn the popular 'Floating Houses' workshop outlining how engineering can be applied in real word contexts. Designed to be hands-on, interdisciplinary in nature, and appeal to different learning styles, this workshop is sure to be a hit with students.

Take part in facilitated discussion with other teachers and learn how to adapt this workshop for any classroom, regardless of age or experience.

This free event is professionally accredited in ACT through the Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) and is suitable for primary and high school teachers.

Hosted by the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science along with the ACT Chapter of Engineers Without Borders; a non-profit organisation that aims to create change through humanitarian engineering and brings together professionals from engineering and other diverse backgrounds.
