The details of the 2018 International Summer School - ANU College Engineering and Computer Science are as follows:
Dates: Sunday 21 January 2018 to Saturday 3 February 2018
Theme: Smart Cities
The underlying theme will be the creation of smart cities, wherein we apply innovative technology-based solutions to urban challenges, with a view to improving their liveability, productivity and sustainability.
Cost of the program has been subsidised by ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science
Program Cost: AUD$1700. Cost inclusive of
- Tuition fee;
- Academic activities;
- 13 nights of accommodation;
- 11 days of meals (Meals not provided on Saturday 27 January & Sunday 28 January);
- Transport within Canberra;
- Sightseeing and other scheduled social activities.
Accommodation: Students will be provided with catered on-campus accommodation in one of ANU student residences.
International Travel: Cost does not include air fares, visa application fees or insurance. Students are responsible for the cost of their own round trip air fares, visa and insurance.
Visa information: International students should apply for an Australian visitor visa (note: not an international student visa). The short duration and academic status of the Summer School means that it falls under the conditions of a visitor visa, as detailed by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.
