An internship is a training position that allows students to gain hands-on experience in a workplace environment relevant to their area of future career interests and current academic studies.
The Summer Programs offered by the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science are a great opportunity to meet and work with academic staff on real research projects and get a taste of what it is like to undertake a research degree.
Students have the opportunity to develop the research and professional skills required to use technology to bring ideas to life and have a positive impact on society.
For students studying the Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering (R&D) or the Bachelor of Software Engineering, work/industry experience is a compulsory component of the degree.
