Nicolas Baudin Program - Online Internships

The Embassy of France in Australia has announced the launch of the call for proposals for the Nicolas Baudin internships program.

The “Internships in Australiaand the “Internships in France” streams, coordinated by the Embassy, will be held in 2021 in a virtual format. For our Australian partners, this format involves proposing online research topics for students in French institutions on subjects which are co-conceived by an academic and an industrial partner.

The first phase of the program, (the call for research topic proposals) is now open. The deadline to send  topics has been extended to the 7th of June. We encourage you to get in touch with your partners in France to make your proposals known, to encourage their students to apply, and to collaborate on potential topics of common interest. At the same time, the laboratories in France propose subjects for Australian students.

This mobility program usually takes place within a co-funding agreement between the Embassy, the Australian universities and the French institutions. We’re currently reflecting on the possibilities of financing for these online internships in the absence of mobility grants.

All information about the program (objectives, calendar, topic proposal formula) are available on this page : https://au.ambafrance.org/Nicolas-Baudin-Program-Internships-in-Australia-Initiative
