NASSCOM Student Innovation Awards 2018

We are pleased to announce the launch of the NASSCOM Student Innovation Awards 2018.

The NASSCOM Australia Student Innovation Awards (NSIA) 2018 brings to you a golden opportunity to 'act' upon your genius ideas and showcase your IT/IT enabled business idea to renowned leaders of the industry.

Our latest winner of NSIA 2017, Shahed Kamal's *entrepreneurial idea "CollabHero" was a part of the top 5 innovative startups in The Learning Innovation Summit 2017 https://www.smartsparrow.com/2017/06/22/one-month-away-the-learning-innovation-summit-2017

Another great outcome of NSIA is Fangzhou Jiang, whose potential and innovation was recognized by NSIA and is also currently under-review at a top tier journal IEEE Transaction on Mobile Computing.

YOU and YOUR IDEA could be the next recognized one if you choose to participate and send in your applications at the earliest as we have limited entries to ensure quality of applicants.

The NASSCOM Student Innovation Awards promote innovation in the field of Information Technology by providing students a platform to display their talent and receive unparalleled exposure to the industry’s experts.

Submissions are now open to all undergraduate, post graduate and PhD students currently studying at University OR have graduated (after July 2017). The submission must be endorsed by a faculty member of the university. Graduated students applying must also have endorsed applications.

Students can apply under two different categories:

  • IT Technical Innovation
  • IT enabled Business Innovation

Both of the categories have the same criteria, namely Innovation, Performance and Potential. Nominees have to demonstrate that their innovation is unique, provides real user benefits and has great worldwide potential. The judges may confer as many or few awards as they agree meets these key criteria.

Eligible students can submit up to three applications per person/group. For more details see the Selection Criteria and Judging sections.
