Job Opportunity - Software/Systems Engineer with Zepben

Zepben is working with industry, government and academia to build next-generation operational systems for electrical distribution networks.

We are embarking on a 3-year project as the lead organisation in a consortium of industry and academic partners developing orchestration mechanisms for Distributed Energy Resources.

This large and ambitious project needs exceptional electrical engineers, physicists and software developers to undertake research and software development activities.

We are looking to fill up to 7 positions from early January 2019.

Job Description

Job title: Software/Systems Engineer

Position description:

We are seeking recent masters and PhD graduates, interns, and experienced professionals with skills and interest in software development and power systems engineering. Full-time positions and paid internships available.

Requisite skills and/or experience students must be able to demonstrate:

  • Software development skills or demonstrable aptitude to develop software.
  • High-level maths and problem-solving skills.
  • No citizenship requirements.

Work will start in January 2019. Nominal 38-hour working week for full-time positions. Flexible hours. 20 hours or less per week for paid intern positions.

Salary will be highly competitive.

Located in Canberra - Civic at the Entry 29 co-working space.
