Our Technology and Security Division is responsible for the provision of a comprehensive Information Technology service to the ABS, encompassing mid-range and small-scale computing facilities and associated communications networks. We offer a range of IT career opportunities in Applications Development, Infrastructure Support and Security.
We are looking for:
- To be eligible for employment with the ABS applicants must be Australian citizens.
- Completed a minimum of 2 years of a relevant IT degree
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to work effectively in a team
- Sound conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
- A desire to be a part of a professional IT team
- A keen interest and ability in one or more of the following areas:
1. Development and Programming Officer
2. Business Analyst
3. Test Analyst
4. DevOps Engineer
5. Infrastructure Support Officer
6. Infrastructure Engineer
7. Networks and Telecommunications Officer
8. Cybersecurity Officer
