Graduate Engineer (Adelaide-based)

We are seeking a knowledgeable, talented, and self-motivated Graduate Engineer to join our engineering team. The Graduate Engineer will assist in the design, planning and implementation of experiments focused on 1414 Degrees’ Research and Development of our latest SiBox thermal energy storage design. Working closely with external suppliers to assist in scaling-up the design and construction of our state-of-the-art thermal energy storage technology.


Your Role will include

  • Conducting literature surveys, data analysis and interpretation to plan and review experimental campaigns

  • Design, setup and operation of experimental campaigns

  • Developing new design concepts for thermal storage media

  • Heat transfer and other engineering calculation/evaluation

  • Preparing test reports, analysis and summary documents for each R&D and engineering activity to ensure Effective dissemination of technical information to internal/external stakeholders

  • Contributing to a team of internal engineers, external consultants, contractors, and suppliers as required to ensure Project deliverables are met within scheduled timeframes and budget

  • Compliance with the 1414 Degrees Environmental Health and Safety Policy and actively assisting in the continuous improvement of WHS
