Conference: Is Artificial Intelligence going to steal your job?

Is Artificial Intelligence going to steal your job?

Join Dr Tim Dunlop, Prof Rob Mahony and Dr Wendy Elford for an investigation into the role of technology in the workplace.

We can’t change the pace or the way in which work or technology is shifting but we can be proactive in the way we respond and prepare ourselves as employable beings. ANU Careers with a panel of specialists will be exploring this theme to stimulate thought and discussion, and provide practical strategies to approach these changes with purpose and a sense of calm and confidence. As a CECS student you might be more up to speed with technology than the average student but do you know how it will and is currently affecting the world of work and how it may affect your career plans in your chosen fields?

Join us on Tuesday the 1st May 12-1pm in the Larry Sitsky Room for a frank and honest approach to these ideas.

The event will cover 4 main themes:

  1. What’s coming and when? – key societal and technology changes
  2. What are the impacts of these changes for you?
  3. How can you get ready?
  4. Current Case studies
