Computing Internship - Mojexa (Project 2)

This position is offered through the ANU Computing Internship

Company

Mojexa is a SaaS developer providing clients with solutions in the asset and property management industries.

There are 2 internship projects on offer with Mojexa

Project 2: Mojexa Spaces Geospatial Visualisation

Mojexa is a SaaS asset and property management product. Our clients use Mojexa to manage major public infrastructure, property portfolios, schools, coffee shops, business assets and much more.

Mojexa Spaces is a 3D digital twin of real world geographic spaces, built in Unreal Engine 4. It provides a way to visualise data on a local, regional, city, country or global scale within a virtual model built on accurate height maps and high resolution satellite imagery.

Mojexa Spaces is our new platform for our users to visualise their asset information. Users will be able to track the location of assets across the virtual geography in Spaces, providing a powerful new way of using their Mojexa software to manage their assets and properties.

This project will involve the creation of back-end APIs to provide data from Mojexa into the Spaces interface, as well as the creation of UI and other elements inside UE4 to display this data.

Required/preferred technical skills or experience in software languages, environments, platforms.

An interest in / experience with UE4 and/or Node.js / Angular / NoSQL.

Required/preferred professional or other skills

The role is ideally suited to someone keen on 3D visualisation using UE4, or someone with interest and experience in geospatial models and data display. Alternatively the role could suit a back-end web/mobile developer with experience building Node.js based APIs on AWS or other cloud services.

The ability to work with your own initiative to resolve issues and explore new technologies would be highly valuable.

We look for people over technical skills, so candidates with an interest in these types of development but who may not have specific skills in UE4, Angular or Node.js are most welcomed to apply.
