Orientation Week is designed to help you meet other new students, familiarise yourself with the campus and prepare for study. You will receive important information about your academic college, support services, visa requirements, program and course advice, academic skills development, staying healthy, and making the most of student life.

Thinking ahead about further career and internship opportunities in your first year? Join CECS O'week Employability & Internship Webinar.

It’s never too early to start thinking about your future career. In this session, you’ll meet the CECS Student Employability team, learn about opportunities for work experience and internships, and understand what you need to be doing from first year to get yourself career ready.

CECS O'week "Amazing Challenge" - registrations open

Date & time: Friday 24 July,  3pm-4:30pm

Are you good at problem solving and finding answers on the internet? Join us with your friends to take on fun challenges in CECS Amazing Challenge. Your team will be competing with other teams on multiple fun tasks to see who is the best problem solver. The winnning team will be awarded with a prize.

Please REGISTER yourself or/and your friends in the event (one ticket per person).

 

CECS Academic Advisory Sessions - registrations open on 13 July

Date & time: Wednesday 22 July to Friday 24 July, 10:00am-4:00pm

CECS Advisory Sessions provide you with an opportunity to discuss your enquiries in detail with the program convener face-to-face.

Booking in an advisory session is highly recommended if you would like to discuss complex enquiries or any urgent enrolment issue in your program individually with the program convener - particularly, if you have applied for credits from an external institute.

Please REGISTER for a relevant Academic Advisory Sessions based on your program. The event link will be sent to you 24hours prior your registration.

 

CECS Graduate Certificate of Machine Learning & Computer Vision Infomation Session - No registration required, GCMLCV students ONLY

Date & time: Tuesday 21 July,  1pm-2pm

Meet the program convenor and learn about program rules. This event is designed for GCMLCV students to ask program related questions. The event details will be emailed to GCMLCV students shortly.

 

CECS Master of Machine Learning & Computer Vision Infomation Session - No registration required, MMLCV students ONLY

Date & time: Tuesday 21 July,  2:30pm-3:30pm

Meet the program convenor and learn about program rules. This event is designed for MMLCV students to ask program related questions. The event details will be emailed to MMLCV students shortly.
