Casual Web Scraper Development Position available.

We are a machine learning start up looking for computer science students to help build an index of global publicly available machine learning labelled datasets. Your sole duty is to scrape structured metadata about specific machine learning labelled datasets available on the public web according to a given schema. You will be paid per unique accurate metadata item produced

($0.05 per record) and can work independently at your own pace.

Requisite skills and/or experience students must be able to demonstrate: An ability to write basic web scrapers is required for this opportunity to be profitable. You can develop in any language you wish and we are happy to give you some pointers as to useful frameworks for this task.

Citizenship requirements: Australian Citizens only.

Cohort of students targeted: First and second year computer science students are encouraged to apply.

Hours per week and the duration of the opportunity: This is a highly flexible casual work opportunity. Work at your own pace and around study as you please. This work will be ongoing until late October.

Location of the work: Remote.

Pay rate/basis of payment: $0.05 per accurate index record completed.
