ANU Solar Car 2023 Executive positions

The ANU Solar Racing team is the largest student run project at the ANU. Our community of innovative and passionate students handle the responsibility of designing, branding, funding, marketing, building and racing an entirely solar powered race vehicle from Darwin to Adelaide every two years.

With over $300,000 in budget and more than 40 team members, this is the perfect chance to get involved, meet new people and apply yourself to real world problem solving.

Project Lead: Responsible for the entire team and project, manages the executive team, plans long term team strategy and is responsible for all high-level decision making on the team.   

Business Lead: manages the entire business side of the project, including strategic direction and management of all capital raising, benefit provision, graphic design, media relations and event management.   

Technical Lead: manages, runs and provides strategic direction the technical side of the team including the cars chassis design, interfaces, power, steering, and solar array design.   

Operational Lead: manages and runs the operational team - the coordination hub of the project, responsible for logistics, travel and resourcing for the entire team. This team is responsible for sending and organising the team to race in the largest solar car event worldwide, manage the budget, and all process and policy creation and implementation.   

This project is the perfect opportunity to learn business and management skills, develop your leadership ability, engineer solutions and add a whole number of other things your resume simply will not be able to handle, and university courses simply cannot offer you.
