This opportunity is available to students who have completed the first year of study in the following areas:

  • Business Intelligence stream: Information Technology (IT), Computing, Business Information Systems or Statistics.
  • Evaluations stream: subject areas such as institutional research, social research, data analytics, statistical modelling, survey methodology, marketing, psychology or information science would be an advantage.
  • Planning & Reviews stream: subject areas such as business, statistics, economics, social research, financial management, information technology, information science and data analytics would be an advantage.

Classification: ANU Officer 3 (Administration)

Salary package: $58,691 - $64,731 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Fixed term (3 years), multiple roles

Position overview

The Cadetship is a three-year, fixed term appointment with the University and is open to students who are studying at the Australian National University (ANU) and have successfully completed, at a credit average, at least their first year of study with at least two years to complete the remainder of their study. 

As a Cadet, you will be working full time and studying part time. You will be provided with generous study leave during academic sessions, to attend lectures/ tutorials/ exams and for private study. You will receive an allowance covering the Service and Amenities Fee and Textbook Expenses.
