Undergraduate Study at CECS

The College provides undergraduate studies leading to a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology. Undergraduate teaching is carried out by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, which offers a challenging and supportive environment for students, with an emphasis on self-directed and small group teaching.








What Can I Study?

CECS offers five undergraduate degrees, providing a wide range of courses in the engineering and computing fields. Each degree can also be combined with other degrees at the ANU, giving exciting possibilities for your study and future career.

How to Apply

Admissions into our undergraduate degrees are processed by the ANU and UAC - you should check the ANU students admissions site to see how to start the application process.

If you have previously studied at other higher education institutions, you may be able to get advanced standing in some of our degrees. This will mean you finish your ANU degree quicker as we give you credit for previous qualifications.

There are some entry requirements for CECS undergraduate degrees - mostly to do with the level of mathematics that you have previously done. Make sure to check the requirements before you apply.
