ANU-NICTA Tuition Scholarship for International Students

Applications are accepted all year round. Applicants should note that this scholarship covers the cost of tuition fees only. Separate stipend scholarships to cover living expenses are available.

Scholarship Description

The NICTA Canberra Research Laboratory funds scholarships for students who are admissible to the ANU as PhD candidates and who successfully apply for NICTA-enhanced PhD supervision.

Tuition Fee

$24,000 per annum (2009)

Maximum Duration

Three years with two possible extensions of a further six months each (conditions apply to extensions).

Other Eligibility Criteria

A minimum of 2nd Class Honours Division A Batchelor Degree or Master degree from a recognised university.

How To Apply

You should check the current NICTA Research Themes and make informal contact with a NICTA researcher to obtain advice on the construction of a research proposal that would suit the NICTA research agenda.

Once you have support from a NICTA researcher, then you can apply for admission and/or scholarship on one form online or download an application form.
