ANU-CECS PhD Scholarship (Local Students)

Applications are generally accepted all year round. However, you are strongly encouraged to apply for an Australian Postgraduate Award and applications for this scholarship close on 31 October each year.

Scholarship Description

Each year the College awards a number of scholarships for full-time study leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Applicants should be of a high scholastic calibre and should have a capacity for research.

Field of Study

All areas of Information Sciences and Engineering indicated by the research interests of CECS staff.

• Academics in the Computer Sciences Laboratory
• Academics in the Department of Computer Science
• Academics in the Department of Engineering
• Academics in the Department of Information Engineering

Scholarship Details

Stipend

$20,427 per annum (2009)

Maximum Duration

Three years with a possible extension of a further six months.

Eligibility

Australian and New Zealand citizens; Permanent Residents of Australia.

Other Eligibility Criteria

A minimum of 2nd Class Honours Division A Batchelor Degree or a Master degree from a recognised university.
