North and Daley Roads, ANU ABSTRACT: We present a novel approach to detect outliers in mixed attribute datasets. In the proposed method, the interaction between numeric and categorical attributes are reasonably considered as well as the interactions among numeric or categorical attributes separatively. Our experiments show that our method has significant improvements compared to other two typical mixed attribute data outlier detection methods.
